An art exhibition “Diversity of the East” was held at the Art Polytechnic in Moscow, the capital of Russia, which aimed to highlight the cultural traditions of the people of Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. At the opening of the exhibition, Yulia Davydova, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, congratulated foreign students on Student Day, which was celebrated at the same time as the opening of the exhibition.
Report by Syed Ishtiaq Hamdani, Moscow based journalist
Yulia Davydova, referring to history, said that the day of students is celebrated because on that day Queen Elizaveta Petrona signed a decree “on the establishment of Moscow University”. And this university is still present in our city in the form of Moscow State University. Also, as part of the event, a graduate student of Moscow State University, Alexander Drogov, had a lecture on the topic: “Political diversity of the East.” In this speech, important topics like international trade, education and interaction between Russia and Eurasian countries were discussed.
Alexander Drogoves gave a detailed lecture on global and regional relations trade and the future and current situation. At the end of the lecture, responding to a question regarding globalization and regional relations, asked by Syed Ishtiaq Hamdani, Chief Editor of Sada-e-Rus, Alexander Drogoves said that Russia is playing a prominent role in regional cooperation and global globalization and regional relations within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and BRICS. He said that if something happens in Yemen, the United Nation takes immediate action, while there are many years old problems within the United Nation, which are not paid attention to by any of the members. In this context, Ishtiaq Hamdani also referred him to the pending issue of Kashmir for many decades.
Regarding Kashmir, Mr. Hamdani also presented a draft of United Nations on January 5, 1949, translated into Russian and printed. He reminded that the United Nations must now take a decision on the issues of Palestine and Kashmir. The close interaction between the Russian Federation and other countries of the Eurasian space is a guarantee of security and progressive economic development in the region,” Alexander Drogovs concluded.
On this occasion, welcoming Yulia Davydova’s great role in the development of the international activities of the University, Ishtiaq Hamdani also presented Yulia Davydova, Vice Rector for International Affairs, with a Kashmiri handiwork-wooden jewelery beauty box.
Foreign guests and students greatly appreciated the event: Madelina Campoch, a student from Fernando, said, “I really liked the exhibition. I am happy to see paintings dedicated to my country at the university and to learn about the culture of other countries. have had the opportunity to be,”
