Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges in Islamabad hosted an extraordinary event to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkiye. The celebration was graced by the presence of distinguished figures, including Mr. Syed Junaid Akhlaq, the Joint Educational Advisor and Secretary General of the Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO, H.E. Professor Dr. Mehmet Paçacı, the Honourable Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Pakistan, and Mr. Harun Küçükaladağlı, the Country Director of the Turkish Maarif Foundation. Their attendance highlighted the significance of the occasion and the robust ties between Pakistan and Türkiye.

Ambassador of Türkiye to Pakistan, H.E. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Paçacı, emphasized the milestone, stating, “The centenary of the Turkish Republic marks a remarkable milestone, symbolizing the extensive progress achieved in various domains. Notably, the enduring cultural bond between Türkiye and Pakistan has grown stronger over the years, underscoring the depth of their relationship.”
Mr. Harun Küçükaladağlı, Country Director of the Turkish Maarif Foundation, underlined the strong bond between Türkiye and Pakistan, exemplified by rich cultural exchanges and educational collaborations.
The event featured an enchanting visual show presented by the talented Maarfians of the school, including captivating performances, traditional folk dances, insightful speeches by distinguished guests, and a heartfelt prayer in solidarity with the people of Palestine.
